St Patrick's Youth Club
St. Patrick’s Youth Club was formed in August 2010 initially aimed at Primary 6 and 7 pupils of St. Patrick’s Primary School, Dumbarton. The formation of this Youth Club was intended to provide a place in order to encourage the children to participate in activities, meet their friends after school, make new friends and get involved in new activities, thus developing their personal and social skills and ultimately to give them a cohesive purpose and to ’keep them off the streets and out of trouble’.
After our first year when the Primary 7 pupils moved up to S1, we decided to set up another group so that the children in S1 were still encouraged and welcomed to continue membership of the Youth Club.
